Bad Day

In case you haven't already guessed from the title, or even the picture, today was not a very good day. In fact, it was possibly one of the worst days to date. Those who know me, know that I don't often complain, but it's kind of hard not to in this situation. I don't even know where to start the telling of it, I'm just upset.

I went up for a block, then turned to dig the poke that was landing just behind me. Fell hard on my wrist. Doug Richards, the national team doctor, tells me it's a second degree sprain, which means I'm out for three weeks. Which means no Guatemala, no Brazil. if I'm lucky, and my wrist heals quickly, then I might be good to go for China, but with little training for the month prior.

I don't even know what else to say here, I was so looking forward to get started with Jessi. All I can really do is wait and hope tomorrow bodes a little better.
